President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to commission three recently rehabilitated roads in Abia State on Monday, February 26.
This marks the first time President Tinubu will commission roads constructed by the current set of governors in Nigeria.
The announcement was made in a statement released by the State Commissioner of Information and Culture, Prince Okey Kanu. The roads scheduled for commissioning are Omoba road, Jubilee road, and Queens street in Abia state.
This event will be significant as it signifies the 9th road to be commissioned in Aba since Governor Alex Chioma Otti assumed office eight months ago.
Additionally, President Tinubu is also slated to commission the Geometric Power Plant in Aba on the same day, which is expected to provide uninterrupted power supply to Aba and its surrounding areas.
