Achraf Hakimi’s troubles just got compounded as the Paris Saint-Germain defender has been charged by prosecutors after strong allegations of assault were made against him.
The Moroccan defender came under investigation after a 24-year-old woman accused him of forcing himself on her in his home while the star’s wife and sons were away.
Hakimi has been placed under police monitoring and was banned from making any sort of contact with the alleged victim.

The PSG defender was quizzed by the Hauts-de-Seine Territorial Security on Thursday, March 2 but he has not been banned from leaving French territory, prosecutors added.
Neither Hakimi nor PSG has made public statements regarding the investigation, but the player through his lawyer has denied all allegations against him.
Hakimi’s lawyer says accusations are false
Meanwhile, Achraf Hakimi’s lawyer, Fanni Colin, has claimed that the allegations filed against his client are false and has vowed to clear the name of the PSG defender.
Colin had in a statement released on Tuesday that the PSG defender had done nothing wrong but they will cooperate fully with the investigation.

Hakimi joined PSG in 2021 from Inter Milan and contributed to the club’s Ligue 1 triumph last season and he was also crucial in helping Morocco reach the World Cup semifinals this year.
